a. Information you provide
- Account details — name, phone number, email address, and password (or Google sign-in identity) when you register and verify your account via OTP.
- Profile information — farm details, profession, listings, and any information you add to your profile.
- Content you create — marketplace listings, equipment and farm-lending posts, community posts, chat messages, images, documents, and voice notes.
b. Information collected automatically
- Location data — with your permission, we access your device location to show nearby professionals, equipment, farms, weather, and to let you pin farm locations on a map. Location is used only while you use these features.
- Device & usage data — device identifiers, app version, and a push notification token to deliver notifications.

- To improve, secure, and troubleshoot the App.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With other users — content you choose to publish (listings, posts, profile details, chat messages) is visible to the users you share it with.
- With service providers that help us operate the App, including:
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging for notifications)
- Google Sign-In (authentication)
- Google Maps Platform (maps and location features)
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Shambani and its users.
4. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact). Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Shambani is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
